1st Meeting / Consultation
When you decide you would like to have a design drawn for your landscape, the first step is a consultation, We will look at your yard and listen to your thoughts.
- We will discuss the different elements that you are looking for: plants, dining area, vegetable garden, water feature, outdoor dining, children’s play area, etc..
- we look around we will notice the sun and shade exposures of your yard, the existing trees and foliage, any views of the neighbors
- Measure area and grade (flat, raised, terraced, etc.) and any other details. We will also consider any existing problems such as drainage, rotting decks and retaining walls and faulty irrigation systems.
2nd Meeting / Review
When the plan is ready for review we will go over all the details during a Review Meeting. During the Review Meeting we will review: The plant selection, the lighting, and surfaces such as the rock, retaining walls and everything else that is included in your plan.
This is your chance to see your design as a full visual concept. We create a fully detailed map of your space to scale. We also include a 3 dimensional concept for a more detailed visual understanding.
3rd Meeting / Final Draft
When your design is ready for a final review we go over all the details and changes made during the Review meeting. At this stage plant selection, lighting arrangement, surface selection like hardscape and materials will be selected. This draft will include a price analysis and phase execution.
